At the 2011 OCCB Charity Christmas Ball, we raised money for the Chi Heng Foundation, a charitable organisation specialising in providing help to children and young adults affected by AIDS.

We’ve been invited to an informal chat with a dozen or so of the students of the Foundation (now studying at various universities in Beijing). It’s a great opportunity for you to gain an understanding of the situation with AIDS-affected children in Beijing, while at the same time share tips on getting through university and integrating into the working world.

Topics that the students are interested include:

How do you deal with pressure in class, and how can you be more effective when studying?

In an environment where there are few job opportunities but lots of graduates, how do you increase your competitiveness?

Some students are interested in starting up their own business after graduation. What advice could you give these students?

How do you improve management skills at work?

Sat 24th March, 2-4pm, near Dongsishitiao station.
E-mail kevlaria[at]gmail.com if you are interested.
